With $2.65 million in available funds, here’s how we multiply our impact:

Balanced Support Across All Areas

In this scenario, we aim to provide partial support across tuition, books, room and board, food, and toiletries for as many students as possible. Instead of covering the full cost for a few students, we spread the funds to help a larger number of students with essential expenses.

In this balanced support approach, 265 students get half of their tuition paid, while thousands more receive assistance with books, room and board, food, and toiletries.

Provide Financial Support for Aspiring Nurses
Offer comprehensive scholarships to address the financial barriers that prevent women of color from pursuing and completing nursing education. This includes covering tuition, housing, books, transportation, and other essential costs.

Enhance Educational Accessibility
Collaborate with educational institutions to create pathways that increase access to nursing programs for women of color, ensuring equality in educational opportunities and reducing systemic barriers.

Combat the Nursing Shortage in Georgia
Directly address the critical shortage of nurses in Georgia by increasing the number of qualified nursing graduates who are prepared to enter the workforce and contribute to the healthcare system.

Promote Workforce Opportunities
Equipping women of color with the skills and opportunities needed to excel in the nursing profession.
