It’s even more powerful when you speak it in the face of a generational curse like poverty. Through a pathway to a career in nursing, IFRN.org is breaking cycles of poverty for women of color on a global platform. With our three-prong approach to mindset building and empowerment coupled with a four pillar foundation of interactive instruction, we believe lives will be positively altered permanently.

Will be needed by 2030 to address the current shortage. Nursing schools and graduate nursing programs are working to accommodate the rising demand for skilled nurses and nurse leaders. IFRN.org is assisting to address this problem.

OUR VISION: To be distinguished as the benchmark program among nursing schools and hospitals through collaboration, education, and community. COMMUNITY
From helping to paint and build houses, assisting in planting a garden in their neighborhoods, to volunteering at local festivals or community park clean-ups we become the change our community needs.
MENTORSHIP
Indigo and it’s partners assist in the growth of the next generation of nurses by giving them the tools to become the best version of themselves. Through achieving their personal and career goals, introducing them to new ways of thinking, challenging limiting assumptions, and sharing valuable life lessons, mentees are positioned to thrive.
EDUCATION
Our indie-goers will participate in workshops, simulations, lectures, field trips and so much more led by industry-thought leaders and tastemakers in Healthcare and Personal Wellness.
LEADERSHIP
Oftentimes, young women lack confidence in public speaking, conflict resolution and problem solving, effective or assertive communication, networking and self-advocacy, and goal setting. We provide career exploration and opportunities to hear from and/or meet inspiring female leaders in nursing. We introduce resources and support for finding internships and volunteer or shadowing opportunities.
We are about equipping young women with the right resources, tools and strategies to live life to the fullest. Every woman needs a community of other women supporting her and that is the reason we are building this village. We are here to help you discover your purpose, excel in your strengths, and live your best life because your dreams are valid.
